David uses a variety of media including water-based mixed media, oils, charcoal, graphite and acrylics. David's paintings are based on careful observation of landscape, and are a painterly and expressive response to what he sees.
Not only is David a painter to inspire the observer he is a tutor who inspires the student. This course will deal with space / perspective, light, tone and colour and with more personal and expressive responses to landscape.
An exhibition of David's work, 'Chasing Sublime Light', is touring Britain from 2008 to 2011.
