Our first course, Listening to the Landscape, with Eleanor White from Bridge House Art, has opened the 2014 painting season in style. Stunning weather, enthusiastic and inspirational teaching, breathtaking views and many a hoot over the evening meal, all conspired to create a fantastic week.
One guest left with this comment; "I just wanted to thank you for the most splendid week of learning and fun. Really, Eleanor was the perfect teacher for me and others, too. I'd love to do a class with her again. But I'm inspired to sketch and learn more. I see things differently now! And I think of how I'd like to draw what I see. Most amazing to me was how all absorbing the work was. NOTHING was in my mind except what I was doing. It was almost instant meditation. It was a fabulous, fun week."
Our thanks go to Eleanor for being a delightful and inspirational tutor, and also to Alison at The Kishorn Kitchen, for the beautiful food she created each evening!
